• gay, lesbian, bi (etc.) people living with depression, manic depression, anxiety, panic disorder, obsessive/compulsive disorder, self-esteem issues, eating disorders, phobias, etc.
• discussing how these problems affect our social life, our place in "the gay community," relationships, family dynamics, etc.
• helping each other through peer support, providing personal experiences to aid others, and referring to resources for more information
• meeting new friends, creating a constructive and hopefully fun community where everyone can feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and feelings without the worry of being attacked because of their sexual orientation, sex, race, or background

What this site is NOT for:

• serving as a substitute for 1-on-1 or group therapy with a professional
• diagnosing conditions and providing therapy or treatment
• providing a place for people to merely vent and take their anger and frustration out on others

Q: Is there a fee to use this site? Is registration required?
A: This is a free site (although donations to help its upkeep are certainly welcome). No registration is necessary with the exception of the message boards. For security reasons, one must register on the board before posting to it. However, any visitor is free to read the contents of the board.

Q: Are you a doctor or counselor?
A: No. My official training in any medical or psychological field extends no further than an undergraduate college course.

Q: Why is this place quiet and bare?
A: This site is still new and growing. Please join the message boards, sit in chat a while, and be a little patient!
